This Privacy Policy explains how CoachSLY collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use the CoachSLY mobile application, website, and related services. CoachSLY is a fitness and workout generation app. The app provides workout guidance, training content, progress features, backup features, and related fitness tools. CoachSLY is not a medical service and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

What data we collect

Workout and training information: such as fitness preferences, workout selections, available equipment, training goals, saved workout data, workout feedback, personal records, limitations you choose to provide, and other information you enter into the app.
Progress information: such as completed workouts, saved workout results, training progress, app activity related to workouts, and related fitness data.
Backup information: when backup features are used, CoachSLY may store account-linked backup data related to your saved app data, workout data, preferences, progress, and backup status.
App activity and usage information: such as feature interactions, app navigation, generation attempts, paywall interactions, backup interactions, and saved preferences.
Technical information: such as device type, operating system, app version, diagnostics, crash data, performance data, and similar technical information.
Purchase and subscription information: such as subscription status, purchase history, entitlement status, renewal status, and related billing information when you use CoachSLY Pro or other paid features.
Advertising and consent-related information: where applicable, this may include consent choices, advertising identifiers, device information, limited usage data, and ad interaction data used by advertising or consent providers.

How we use your data

We use the data we collect to:

provide saved workouts, progress features, preferences, and app functionality
provide backup and backup status features where available
help preserve app data during updates where technically possible
authenticate your account and keep the app secure
manage subscriptions, entitlements, and access to paid features

monitor app functionality, diagnose issues, and prevent abuse or fraud

display ads in the free version of the app, where applicable and subject to consent requirements

Workout and training data

CoachSLY uses workout and training data to personalize your app experience. This may include information you provide directly, information you save in the app, and workout-related activity generated while using the app. Some workout-related information may include basic physical limitations or training restrictions that you choose to enter, such as avoiding certain movements or noting discomfort. CoachSLY uses this information only to adapt workout content and improve the relevance and safety of the app experience. CoachSLY does not use this information to diagnose, treat, or provide medical advice. You should not enter sensitive medical information beyond what is necessary to help adapt your workout. If you have a medical condition, injury, or health concern, consult a qualified medical or fitness professional before exercising.

AI-generated workouts

CoachSLY uses AI technology to generate workout recommendations, workout adjustments, training guidance, and related fitness content. To provide these features, CoachSLY may send relevant workout-related information to an AI service provider. This information is limited to what is reasonably necessary to generate or adjust the requested fitness content. This may include information you enter into the app, workout preferences, saved training data, and feedback you provide about workout content. AI-generated content is provided for informational and general fitness purposes only. It is not medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or a substitute for professional guidance. You are responsible for using your own judgment, training safely, scaling workouts appropriately, and consulting a qualified professional when needed.

Backup and cloud storage

CoachSLY may include backup features that allow you to back up app data to cloud storage linked to your account. When you use backup features, CoachSLY may store account-linked data such as saved workout data, progress data, preferences, personal records, and related backup metadata. The Back Up Now feature uploads this device’s CoachSLY data to cloud storage. The Check Cloud Backup feature checks whether backup data exists for your account. Checking for a cloud backup does not restore data to your device by itself.

Local data and app updates

CoachSLY may store certain app data locally on your device. This may include saved preferences, workout data, progress data, and related app information. When the app is updated, CoachSLY may update local storage formats to help preserve your app data where technically possible. Local data may remain on your device unless you delete it, delete your account, uninstall the app, clear app data, or use device-level storage controls.

How your data is shared

CoachSLY does not sell your personal information. We may share data only in the following limited circumstances:

with service providers that help us operate the app, such as authentication, cloud hosting, database, analytics, crash reporting, advertising, consent management, payment/subscription management, AI generation, and infrastructure providers
with AI or cloud service providers when necessary to generate workout content, adjust workouts, provide app functionality, or support backup features
with Apple App Store, Google Play, RevenueCat, or other payment/subscription providers where needed to process purchases, manage subscriptions, and verify paid access
with advertising and consent providers where applicable, including for free-version ads and consent management
when required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request
when necessary to protect the rights, safety, security, or property of users, the public, or CoachSLY

Third-party services

CoachSLY may use third-party services and SDKs to operate, secure, monetize, and improve the app. These may include:

Firebase Authentication
Firebase database, hosting, analytics, diagnostics, or related services
Google Sign-In
Sign in with Apple
Google Mobile Ads / Google AdMob
Google consent management tools
RevenueCat for subscription and entitlement management
Apple App Store and Google Play billing systems
AI service providers used for workout generation and adjustment

These third-party services may process data according to their own privacy policies and terms. CoachSLY does not control the privacy practices of third-party services.

Advertising and consent

CoachSLY may display ads in the free version of the app, where applicable. Advertising providers may process limited device, advertising, consent, and usage data to provide, measure, and improve ads. Where required by law or platform rules, CoachSLY may ask for your consent before using certain advertising or tracking technologies. You may be able to manage advertising consent choices in the app, through system settings, or through your device’s privacy settings.

Purchases and subscriptions

CoachSLY may offer paid features, including CoachSLY Pro. Purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple App Store, Google Play, RevenueCat, or other supported payment/subscription providers. CoachSLY may receive subscription status, entitlement status, product identifiers, transaction identifiers, renewal status, and related purchase information. CoachSLY does not receive or store your full payment card details.

Data retention

We retain personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the app, maintain security, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Your saved workout data, preferences, personal records, progress data, backup data, and related account data may be retained until you delete them, request deletion, or delete your account, unless a longer retention period is required by law or for legitimate security, fraud prevention, compliance, accounting, billing, or legal purposes. Some technical logs, analytics data, purchase records, fraud-prevention records, and legal/accounting records may be retained for longer where necessary or required.

Your rights and choices

Depending on your location, you may have rights regarding your personal data, including the right to request access to your data, correction of inaccurate data, deletion of your account and associated data, or information about how your data is used. You can delete your CoachSLY account directly inside the app from My Profile → Delete Account. You may also contact us at contact@coachsly.com for privacy questions or data requests. You may also manage some privacy choices through your device settings, app permissions, advertising settings, or platform account settings.

Account deletion

Users can delete their CoachSLY account directly inside the app from My Profile → Delete Account. When you delete your account, CoachSLY deletes your Firebase Authentication account and associated account-linked user data where technically possible, including saved profile information, workout preferences, personal records, saved workout data, workout history, progress data, backup data, and related app data. Some information may be retained where required or permitted for legal, security, fraud prevention, compliance, accounting, billing, dispute resolution, or legitimate business purposes. After account deletion is completed, you will no longer be able to access the deleted account or its associated app data. Children’s privacy

CoachSLY is not directed to children under the age of 13 and is not intended for use by children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe that a child has provided personal data through the app, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete the information.

Security

We take reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect personal information against unauthorized access, misuse, loss, alteration, or unauthorized disclosure. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

International data processing

Your information may be processed and stored in countries other than your own, depending on where our service providers, infrastructure providers, AI service providers, analytics providers, advertising providers, or other third-party partners operate.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, provide additional notice within the app or on our website.
